ADVENTURE #1 - The Computer Solution Save the world from a nuclear holocaust started by faulty defense equipment! *HINT* You must have a pass to safely enter the building! XXX ADVENTURE #2 - The Caves of Madness You must exscape the Caves of Madness to return to your loved ones. *HINT* A sword is mighty to have, but may cause your demise! XXX ADVENTURE #3 - The Mansbie Quest Save a "dead" town from permanent disaster due to a nearby volcano. If you succeed, you will be richly rewarded! *HINT* Mapping the caves is a must! XXX The following documentation is designed to help you with the basic commands of these adventures. - WORDS - The vocabulary of words contained within the programs is very extensive. Some words such as "LOOK" and "EXAMINE" have the same meaning and produce the same results. If you have trouble, try different words, or words which mean the same thing. Try to use words and phrases which you would normally use to accomplish a specific task. XXX - PHRASES - You may use many phrases to accomplish specific tasks. For example, the phrase "DROP SANDWICH IN BAG" will accomplish the same thing as "SANDWICH IN BAG". Try to keep your phrases down to two or three words. XXX - SAVE/LOAD - To save your position at any time, type "SAVE". You will then be prompted for a filename. Make sure you have a blank formatted disk in the drive before saving your position. DO NOT use the program disk for this purpose. To load your previously saved position into the game, type "LOAD" at the first prompt. This will allow you to play these adventures over a period of time to solve them. **HINT** If you find yourself in a sticky situation, SAVE your position before continuing! XXX - MOVEMENT - You may abbreviate directions of movement as follows: N,S,E,W,NE,NW,SE,SW,U & D XXX There are a few twists to these adventures, use your imagination to overcome them. It is possible to "solve" these adventures with less than 100% of available points. Your goal should be solve these adventures while attaining 100% of the available points.
