The inverse characters you get with adding 128 to the value! This is true for Graphics mode 0. In graphics modes 1 and 2, there is no such thing like inverse characters by default. You can get them with modified character set. You can download my program SetView, written in Atari BASIC, which shows a list of whole ATARI character set as characters, ATASCII and internal code values.
